Accadde oggi - Michael, you are not alone

Il 25 giugno 2009 moriva, in circostanze non ancora chiarite, il mito del Pop, Mickael Jackson.
Quel giorno il mondo, all'improvviso, si rese conto del vuoto che lasciava.
Le reazioni alla sua morte, spontanee in tutto il mondo, resteranno nella storia: ci si è resi conto che nessuno come lui aveva toccato corde comuni in milioni di cuori, culture, generazioni diverse. E' successo qualcosa di imprevisto ed imprevedibile: a noi che l'abbiamo visto fin dagli inizi e ne abbiamo seguito la stella crescente, si sono aggiunti milioni di ragazzini dai dieci ai vent'anni, che lo adorano come fosse un cantante dei loro tempi.
E in quel momento incredibile di silenzio cosmico che la morte richiederebbe, la sua musica si è scatenata. Milioni di dischi venduti in poche ore nel mondo, e l'onda non si ferma. La sua grandezza sta qui: lo riascolti e non c'è una sola sola canzone che scarteresti.
Purtroppo, abbiamo capito "dopo" che dietro un grande artista c'era una persona fragile, che voleva essere capita e accettata al di là del suo essere star.
Eppure ce lo aveva detto in molti suoi testi. Si preparava al ritorno, ma era imbottito di medicinali, fino al cocktail che gli è stato fatale. Che medico è uno che ti cura così?
E' notizia dell'altro giorno che gli lasceranno la licenza, che quel medico potrà continuare a svolgere la professione. Un assurdo.
E a noi che restiamo qui, orfani di un grande, ha fatto ancora più rabbia vedere le immagini delle prove per il nuovo spettacolo: Michael era tutt'altro che lo "spettro" che ci avevano descritto. Era magro, ma in forma, ballava e si muoveva con la solita grazia, con l'energia che la tua passione ti sa dare. Era lui. E due giorni dopo non c'era più.
Ci sentiamo soli. E allora, per tutti noi e per ricordare lui, un suo capolavoro: "You are not alone".
